Dr. Adams first got involved in chiropractic care when he was in college as a gymnastics coach. After injuring his shoulder while coaching competitive gymnasts, he sought out the care of a local chiropractor. After a few treatments, he was back coaching without any pain or dysfunction. After he graduated college, Dr. Adams enlisted in the United States Navy and served for 6 years as a Hospital Corpsman. During his time in the Navy, Dr. Adams had a severe injury to his lower back. He was able to continue his service due to the care he received from the chiropractors and physical therapists in the Navy. After all of this, Dr. Adams knew that his passion was to help others and that led him to get his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University.

Dr. Adams has obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP®) by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™ (ACBSP™). The CCSP® certification requires the doctor to attend a minimum of 100 hours of a 120-hour postgraduate program. This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must then take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination.

This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. The CCSP® certification exists to provide a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that the doctor has met a minimum level of competency in chiropractic sports medicine.

Dr. Adams enjoys helping people achieve their best performance in all areas of their life. He has experience in working with gymnasts, cheerleaders, golfers, weightlifters and weekend warriors.
